Classes

Suzy Hatcher offers Pottery classes for children, teens, and adults, ages 7 and up in Louisville, KY.

Classes are limited in size. Average size is 4-9 students.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.

All work will be fired in the kiln and need to be picked up a week later.

Tips for clay working: cut your nails short, wear comfortable shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

Projects may include mugs, bowls, teapots, pitchers, vases, cups, plates, butter dishes, salt & pepper shakers, whistles, lamps, boxes, juicers, and large coil pots. Techniques such as sgraffito, Mishima, and slip trailing may be explored. Glazing will be completed at the end of the session. All pieces will be fired in the kiln and need to be picked up at a later date.
